Maitron makes a speech to toast the bride and groom at the reception?

My two best friends are getting married this Saturday October 27 .. it I need to know before answering Friday .. if possible and if you want to add anything that might be my part as the Maitron of honor … at the wedding of my best friends …

Only if you want, to go with the best man too. You may ask if you want, but then you may feel obligated to do so. I'm not asking anyone to for my wedding because I understand that some people have a fear of public speaking. If someone wants to do well or whatever, no need to do so publicly.
