Wedding Toast Speech
I need a toast or speech, to recite the best friend of the wedding of my … help!?
Growing up my 2 best friends and I were joined at the hip. Laura is having his 3 cousins as her bridesmaids, so we are not in the wedding party, but we would like to make a toast / short speech anyway. I am not a great writer, so I've been trying to write something for weeks (as the other friend) and paste are. Anyone have any toasts / speeches that would be appropriate? Many thanks for your help … we're desperate!
I think that is sweet for wanting to give your best friend in your wedding! Some friends would feel offended, has not asked be in the wedding party, so I applaud you for being a true friend! I sat on the computer or with paper and only think of memories, fun times, life lessons you've learned along the way with his friend. You can simply freewrite / write words that come to mind when you think back on how it is influenced in the person you are today and the friendship we have established over the years. He speaks from the heart, telling him what their wishes for their future are and perhaps what I have gained personally as a result of her life. There is little time only by what comes from your heart. I am sure that if she does she will treasure your words! Good luck!
