Mother Of The Groom Speech

So before we talk about wedding toast etiquette, we need to know what a toast. A toast is the act of lifting a glass and drinking to honor someone or something. To begin submitting the proposal for a toast, and then give the reasoning and discourse behind him. Now that we know what a toast, we must decide how know who gives the toast at a wedding. Knowing that gives the first toast, and so is known as the wedding toast etiquette. This is something you need to know before going to a wedding so you know in what order things are supposed to happen.

When looking at the wedding toast etiquette, we are supposed to start with the best man. This is the bread you need to reach to be offered to the bride and groom. After the speech is given, the groom (because it was his best man) should respond with some kind of thanks in response to the toast that was given. Because the best man always comes first, the best man spot is supposed to be very honest.

After the best man goes, the other members of the bride and groom's family can give a speech or a toast, if desired. However, usually not everyone gives a toast. If they did, there is an order that is supposed to go. After the best man goes is up to the father of the bride to be then followed by the father of the groom. It would then be up to their mothers, once again, starting with the mother of the bride and the next, the mother of the groom. After all this, the groom can make a toast to his new wife and the wife can make a toast to the groom. However, this is not done very often.
